So this doesn't tie into the Aladdin system?
No, SeeLevel does make a system to tie into the Aladdin but the connection is about 120 bucks more and I didn't think it was worth the extra $$$. I never could get the Aladdin to calibrate correctly and I think it was because of the cheap phone cords they used. It also appeared the sensors were placed in an awkward location so I trashed that whole mess and went with sensors OUTSIDE the tanks. Unlike inside sensors, there's nothing to impair their reading. I put 10 gallons in each tank and they registered pretty accurately. I'm happy with the system. $179/system and $20/wiring/loom/switch....Dennis
For the most part I don't have trouble with my Aladdin system, other than having to clean or replace a sensor a few times in over 10 years. And the location of the sensors in our coach makes it very easy to change out. But, the quest for accuracy from the Sealevel system intrigues me, although I think I would still want to use the Aladdin. Thanks
Below is a link to the Aladdin system hookup. Much of my Aladdin system works well but there are parts that don't, tank readings for one. This is important if you're boondocking or in a place where hookups are limited. Also, parts for the Aladdin system are difficult to find. Garnet Instruments, maker of SeeLevel is coming out with a bluetooth model later this year which will allow you to check your tank levels via your phone. This may be a great feature...Dennis
