This is just my opinion.
I did not want propane on board when we decided to purchase our first motorhome. The first coach was all electric (2008 Monaco Dynasty w/AquaHot) and now the second coach is in the sig. Not only is propane extremely flammable compared to diesel, it's more trouble fueling at two locations. I figured, just having one type of fuel on board was more convenient.
When we rented 3 coaches before purchase, we had to fill the diesel and propane tanks before return. That was a big pain as not all fuel stations have propane. That cured me of wanting propane.
On the new coach, our systems are 'large' so boondocking could last for weeks.
