My brother will be putting on Wild Country XTX tires from Les Schwab. They are a mild A/T tire, so the drive smooth and don't make any noise. But they are also Snowflake rated as a traction device.
My dad's van has the Rocky Mountains. I'm not impressed. They just don't drive all that well. They are smooth and quiet, but not as sure footed as most tires, especially in damp conditions. And they are completely worthless in snow. I suspect the van will also get the Wild Country XTX tires next go around, since they are really happy with them on their Escape.
