Well I've used Chevron ATF MD3, which is formulated for use of pre 2005 transmissions that required Dextron III, for 8 years now. I've changed the fluid approximately six times over those years and I'm doing just fine at 66,000 miles.
Again, I'd ask you to point me to a credible source of information that says this is no good.
