Allison 6 speed w/lock out
Looking at an Allegro Breeze, and it advertises an Allison xmisson with lock out. What series Allison is this(1000..2000?). And what is lockout?

Tiffin uses 3 Allison transmissions with their motorhomes. The 3000 is used in the Phaeton, and Allegro Bus lines, the 2500 is used in the Allegro Red series, and the Breeze started out with the 1000 but it has been upgraded to the 2100.

To the OP, lockout usually refers to overdrive. If the transmission is hunting back and forth between 5th and 6th for example, you can lock out 6th gear and hold it in 5th.
