I was wondering how everything worked out for you after your pre Labor Day inquiry. Glad you had a positive outcome(better late than never).
As far as the repair facility, it doesn't surprise me that they mis-diagnosed the problem and didn't know what part they were looking for. I had an Allison ECU problem several years ago on my previous coach, and they sent me to their "Allison certified" facility in Yakima because they don't normally do anything on Allisons except fluid and filter changes in Wenatchee. I've had a couple of other things done there too, and it's obvious that they don't know or want to work on motorhomes other than just routine service. It sounds like all of your help and input is what got you back on the road again. Glad to hear that things are trouble-free for you now!
Yes all is well now. I think the repair facility you mention in Yakima is the same one I talked with and then coachnet had us towed us to their Wanatchee center owned by the same company.
Having a resource such as RV.NET is a valuable asset when on the road. I saved some thousands of dollars by having the right information both for my tow service and then to be able to network with folks that got me to the right party to fix it. I have never been one to stand around and wait for the answer to fall upon me, I am glad I did the research on this one as well.
