Allison Transmission's Shift Selector shows error or is dark

SOmetimes just cycling power will fix it.. I re-did my battery box so I now have just one connection. a genuine BATTERY TERMINAL type connection (not the el-cheapo crimp on ring connectors it came with) and only twice since have I had a POST issue (Power On Self Test) both times cycling power (Turn key off, re-start) fixed it.. Just like one of my computers today. Screen went dark. Did Forced off and restart and finished my print job.
