Aluminum wheels

Anyone on here running aluminum wheels on a dodge class C? Would love to have a set but don't know what will fit.
  • any good tire/wheel shop should be able to tell ya. Also search the net for aluminum wheel vendors. I have alcoas on my B+ (ford) Not sure but should be the same lug pattern as I know on a standard wheel they are interchangeable.

You cannot use the Ford/Alcoa wheels on a Dodge because they are hub-centric, and the Ford have a larger Hub bore.

You should be able to use most other aftermarket alloys as they are usually lug-cetric so the larger center bore will work on your chassis. You will have to maintain your inner steel wheels as the alloys are to thick to work as an inner wheel.

This is assuming your rig has non-"coined" dually wheels. I.e. your inner wheels are a snug fit on the hub, and not centered by mating with corresponding outer wheels. The lug nut holes must be flat to run alloy wheels.

    Not compatible:

  • As far as I know all the dodge class C motor homes had the coined wheels. I replaced my 16.5 wheels with 16s off a pre ram dodge truck.

Why do you think you want aluminum wheels? Are you changing the size? Do you want lighter wheels? Do you want the wheels to look better? Do you want to get rid of hubcaps?

I purchased shiny wheel liners for looks and to get rid of the hubcaps. If you have the same idea, check this one Pacific Dualies. Do call Arlan @ 1-800-420-5872 8am-10pm cst, he can help you with this type of wheel liner.
  • I have the stainless Steel simulators on it now but I like the look of the aluminum wheels. I run across used ones every now and then but none of them came off a dodge.
