Depending on the state laws(the law where you buy, not where you live), IF you ask a Dealer (even a private seller) a specific question about the condition or circumstances of the vehicle and he LIES to you, he can be sued(very easily). At least the laws in the State of Texas are that way. It falls under the Deceptive Trade Act law in Texas. Find out if NY has a similiar law. The thing about Lemon law is this---IF the unit went thru the complete lemon law and was repurchased by the OEM, it MUST be stated when sold later that it was a Lemon Law RV. Even the private seller must disclose if he sells it later, depending on the laws of the state. In Texas, the private seller must disclose if the vehicle was a Lemon law vehicle. IF the Dealer and OEM trade out the supposed lemon law vehicle or buy the unit back BEFORE the lemon law was done, then the vehicle has no Lemon law stain. And there is NO requirement about that if asked. But, if you ask about previous problems on that vehicle and the dealer knows and lies, then he has violated any Deceptive Trade Law that his state may have. Doug
