This is probably the best way to do it! As your rig sits on an rv lot, you're a "captured audience", they can take as long as they want, and you'll still be there. The mobile tech needs to get the job done, or you'll call someone else. Even if it's a few bucks more (and I don't even know if it is) it would be worth it.
Also wonder, what is breaking every time you take a trip? In 5 years of osnership, ive only had one repair done, and the rest of the maintenance I do myself. None of this work is particularly hard, and here's plenty of information here and on other sites to help you do just about anything.
