Can I be the devil's advocate? Windshield wipers at the top of the coach? You have to get a ladder out to just change the blades and if you put covers on them while parked, you will have to pull out that ladder every time.
Mirrors that attach to the top of the frame sometime won't have full coverage window shades. I'm not sure about American Coach but Newell's that have the high-mounted rear-view mirrors have an 18 inch gap between the A-pillar and the shade on the passenger side. (crazy).
