I have an AC Tradition '07 with the bath and a half floor plan. Absolutely love it. The previous 3 owners garage kept it, more than once someone asked me if it was new.
My comment on the mirrors are they do create a blind spot on the drivers side. As Blaster Man said they include a cluster of 3 mirrors which I do like. I haven't noticed the shades getting in the way of the mirrors.
Concerning the wipers, they are located near the roof as has been mentioned. If that's your main consideration in choosing a rig then eliminate this coach because every 3 years or so you're gonna have to climb that ladder. I'm not trying to be defensive, but the wipers issue is pretty lame.
As with any used coach 10 yrs old or older condition is the most important consideration.
Ok, it was me that mentioned the upper wipers as being a negative. I wipe my wiper blades down with a damp clothe to keep them clean every week or so, especially if haven't used them in a while.
I flip them from their resting state so that they don't get 'stuck' on one side when swiping the windshield. Those wipers are way up there and I just don't see the advantage of that set-up.
If I liked the coach, it wouldn't be a deal breaker.
The window shades on Newell that I looked at with the high-arm attached mirrors would be a deal breaker as the shade doesn't cover the whole windshield. Newell has two different options, regular mirrors or the high mounted ones.
Safe travels,
MM.
PS. On edit: Every coach comes with 'compromises'. Prevost coaches do not come with awnings above the entrance door nor do they have screen doors (unless you retrofit some kind of magnet screen).
