I would think his 2009 has some type of power management system to prevent that. I can easily monitor how many amps are being used on each leg, and it will automatically shed loads through the power management system to avoid any kind of overload. I have never had anything shed on 50A RV service, but I have while on generator, and the dryer is right after the hot water tank.
