I agree that the enjoyment of RV'ing, specifically in a motor home, out weight what the cost of the fuel going into it is. This year I have stopped keeping a log on my fuel costs and mpg that I have kept for the last 6 years. I know my gaser gets about 7 mpg give or take, so I've decided why do I need to record anything. Regarding the fuel debate on energy and clean air, I don't believe a whole lot what the government tells us, especially the EPA. Last I heard, it takes more energy to refine ethanol into gasoline than the return energy received from it. I think most would agree nobody is getting any benefit out of the use of ethanol except those states that produce the corn and folks like one of the posters that has a daughter working at one of the plants.
