Sounds like you bought in to the hype. Here is a link that gives the various components of diesel exhaust. Oxygen is not mentioned. Diesel exhaust components
Since 2010 DEF engines only reduces the nitrous oxide emissions. It does not produce breathable air coming out of the exhaust pipe.
