A cetane improver along with a not more than 5% shot of biodiesel will give it back the ower diesel lost when they cut back on sulfur and aromatics.
On gas engines mine now knocks on even Shell 93 octane or rather pings before the computer turns it down to keep from hurting engine. I've been buyin no ethanol gasoline in 93 octane but the number of stations are getting smaller that seel it. The new Owners of the station I've been buying it are not now Indian but Pakistani. They have jacked up the difference by over a dollar a gallon. 4.00 plus is theft. Lots of people are risking 50-60-100 thousand dollar engines because of inferior gasoline. And it does nothing for the environment and in fact causes a lot more net pollution. They just keep on lying like it will change the properties of gasoline, alcohol and water. They don't have one concern for Americans. It is all about them and their agenda and let the people eat cake.
