Did not mean to insult our Canadian neighbors as I love Canada. I did not think it had anything to do with Canadian TV stations. I thought someone out there might have had the same problem & had a easy fix. I believe the boxes are just shot. Our grandsons were watching a DVD in the rear & we did not have the TV on in front. The TV in the rear quit working completely. I unplugged the TV for a couple of hours and it started working again,but the box will not convert to HD. Ditto the front TV. Have tried most of the above before I started this post with no success. Thanks again for all the help.
