Another comparison question

So I couldn't make the deal on the tiffin so I have two other options locally. Granted I know they both are in a different class as the tiffin but they are also both less expensive. The first is a 2011 Hurricane 34t with 11000 miles and the other is a 2008 Gulfstream Yellowstone with 8500 miles. They are both comparable as far as upgrades other than 1 more slide in the Hurricane. Ugh so torn. Chime in with the good bad and the ugly.

  • If you want specific information on the Gulf Stream Yellowstone go to the Gulf Stream forum. There are many Yellowstone owners there.

  • We looked at a dozen various length and engine class A's, new and used. We bought a beautiful used Hurricane 34B and love it. The low miles, great price and the 3 slides made it the one. We're thoroughly enjoying our entry level class A.

Sadly we even sat with a dealer to order a brand new Moho. He was suppose to call us in a week for the final $ and never did. I called him and didn't bother to return my call. We quickly moved on. We were qualified to buy and ready to buy. Guess he wasn't to hungry for the business.

Buy the Moho that fits your needs.
  • There are lots of Tiffins out there. You just need to look a little further away to find a good one. And a good Tiffin is a lot better than what you are considering imho!
  • IMHO, it's a decision only you can make. I am personally satisfied with my Hurricane as it meet my needs for the amount of usage it gets. Sure, Hurricanes are considered "entry level", but it didn't break the bank when I bought it. :W

    Good luck with your decision.
  • Keep looking! Get on the phone to some LARGE RV dealers that advertise...such as Lazy Days..( as an example)
  • Have you tried some dealers further away? Tiffin claims their warranty is good anywhere. They make a good unit I would travel to get a deal.
