Another 'different' tire question...

I am not questioning the 'seven-year' rule on replacing MH tires. I am wondering however how that particular number of years was decided upon. For example, why not six or eight or some other number...why seven? Any thoughts about the origin of the '7-year' rule? / Thanks... Larry

    Personally, I prefer to err on the side of safety! I've seen too many
    tire failures that were consistent with tire related age issues.

    Just here in the forum we have hundreds of RVers, thousands of years of RV experience. and that is just here in THESE forums, I belong to 3 groups of RV forums this adds to the totals very fast, plus of course the thousands who are NOT in the forums... Lots and lots of Experience.
