Ford does NOT use an adjustable stop light switch. The switch is at the juncture of the brake pedal arm and the linkage going forward to the master cylinder. Don't listen to the Chebby guys.
Do you stop lights work? The cruse control needs to see a ground signal from the stop light wires when the stop lights are off.
Could it be some one replaces the incandescent stop light bulbs with LEDs?
