You have gotten a lot of honest answers so for because we live in America and all of us think differently. I am staying next to Liberty Coach a Prevost conversion place and spent some time looking at these MH's. I had to take my shoes off before I went in. They were absolutely beautiful inside. But I asked myself what would I do with it, I don't like RV resorts or even KOA type campgrounds. I prefer more remote camping. I like to fish and hike etc and would not want to mess it up. If I had to camp like that I would rather stay in a 5 star hotel. They did not keep any older MHs on the lot for sale, they had one Newel which they told me was junk. Most on here would not say that. I have a had chance to buy my friends 40 Tiffen bus at a good price I could well afford, but it was just to big for me and how I would use it. When I test drove these 36 to 40 ft DPs, I liked the ride and the brakes but did not like the performance compared to a short Gas MH which weighed half the weight of the DP. Another thing to consider is that a new 26 ft gas MH will have the same 362 HP eng as a 38 ft. A 40 ft DP my have 450 HP but a 32-34 ft may have 300 hp or less. So you will lose performance as you go bigger in gas but a DP compensates for weight as you go bigger with eng size. That is why I think from 24-34 ft choose gas from 38 to 45 DP and in between is a toss up based on the details of the MH and how you plan to use it.
