I agree when you say Most of the bath and a 1/2 floor plans we looked at were on a 36 foot or longer chassis /floor plan which we thought anything that size is pushing the ford gas chassis to its limits,
The more I look around and ask questions I'm bothered by the same thing. Some coaches are on 26,000 chassis with a 242 and 266 wheelbase. That sounds great for sea level here in Florida but what will the added size and weight do in the mountains out west?
As you said "its all the same engine and transmission" and at what point do you lose too much power. I don't have that answer but I know you guys do so give it up guys. Whats the truth of it all!!!!!!
And please don't tell us about diesel pushers, we're talking gassers here!
