I agree, "Plenty of power" may be hard to define. I've owned a Corvette and a Mercedies diesel and they both had power. But the Corvette was the only one with "Plenty of power"!
Clearly "Plenty of power" on the flat roads of Florida and "Plenty of power" for the mountain roads of Colorado are clearly two different things. So may I ask the question another way?
All top 2016 gasser models have the exact same Ford drive train. Are they sufficient to the task of getting you up into Yellowstone Park without the feeling of "hey I can walk faster than this"?
Most of us have been in something somewhere along the line where the vehicle you're in is constantly shifting up and down and down and up. This can can be annoying to the max and my hope is this is not how it would be with a gasser going up hills/mountains! Shifting is obvious, but you know what I mean right?
