suggest you price quote all of the biggies...geico, progressive, state farm. we've had SF (last I heard they don't do fulltimers but it's been a while) since we were married in 1970 and my family had it before then. that should say something about how much we like SF. - 2chiefsRusExplorerWe have been happy with National Interstate through Gilbert RV as our agent.
- LVJ58ExplorerWe've been most satisfied with Foremost Insurance Co. who has insured us now for 20 years. We've filed several claims over the years and have enjoyed their no-hassle claim service and reasonable annual premium for our coverage.
Good luck with your choice... - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerNational Interstate. They include premium for Coach Net in their policy.
- 10forty2ExplorerIt's not always about saving a few bucks.....it's about the service when you need it. I've had Nationwide Insurance on my vehicles since I was 16 and my house since 1992 when we built it. In all those years, I've never once had a claim that wasn't handled with the utmost priority and satisfaction. Yeah, I probably could save a few dollars a year if I shopped around, but for the service I've gotten from them, the little bit of extra cost is worth it to me. I'll stick with Nationwide until I'm dissatisfied.
- KlueckExplorerWe had National Interstate for 4 years but after a rate increase (for no reason or claims) both of the last two years, I did a little checking and found a much better rate with Blue Sky. The only difference is Blue Sky only allows a max of $15k for contents coverage, where National Interstate we had $20k and could have as high as we wanted. I checked Progressive and found the best price at Blue Sky.
In my research, I did find that National Interstate had an incorrect rating basis (value of coach) listed and when corrected it reduced their premium but still not as much as Blue Sky - IvylogExplorer IIII've been able to keep my insurance at $1200/year for the last ten years with National Interstate on the rig below. Stopped the replacement coverage, went to agreed value and reduced the value each year, NO CLAIMS, good credit, and no moving violations... so they wanted $1600 this year on $100K of value.:M
Shopped around and ended up with Progressive for $1200 BUT liability only is $168/year and I can call and go to full coverage when it's not in storage. As half timers this will get me down to $700/year with some risk when not in use. Just finished replacing my NoCold/firebomb with a home unit.
Now if we could get everyone to drop National and Blue Sky, maybe their prices would come down. - bullydogs1ExplorerI had Blue Sky for years...then my annual came up and they wanted 850 more..Why?...because they could...no tickets/accidents..they stated that many states are going to raised this amount because they got approval...many people on this forum have gotten the blue sky surprise and had to switch..I am now with Allied with a reasonable rate thru Gilbert...So if you are with Blue Sky now, when your annual is up..SURPRISE!...
- Two_JayhawksExplorerYou might want to mention where the vehicle is licensed as that matters. I assume the location in your signature?
- robertbenitaExplorerWe have been pretty satisfied with Progressive for our RV.
