Your batwing antenna is good to go, make sure of your connections then you may have to rotate antenna to pick up different TV stations, on my TV there is a menu item where I can select "signal strength",, I go there then slowly rotate the antenna. In Tampa where we spend the winter I have to rotate antenna sometimes when I change TV stations at the TV transmitting towers are all in different locations around the city. I have found where they all come in at and when I change stations it is easy to rotate the antenna and pick them up. There is a lot of free TV out there!
