It appears that you are so wrong because you are so wrong and for no other reason at all.
In case it has not been made clear, your original post is completely incorrect and you should educate yourself on antenna reception before continuing to post similar nonsense.
TV has been broadcast on UHF and VHF frequencies for nearly all time. It still is today. That means that any antenna that can receive UHF and VHF (like the Sensar/Batwing) can receive digital (and analog) broadcasts.
It's truly no more complicated than that.
Now, if you want to know why marketers are trying to sell you something you don't need like a digital or HD antenna, it's because the marketers could not sell you a new antenna if you knew the truth!
