it should be noted, there is MORE THAN ONE Rayzar antenna
one is a fully automatic rotating self tuning antenna enclosed in flat cylinder housing similar in appearance to a sat dish
the 8535 is the black plastic version of the 8500

and while i think the sensar iv is the best thing out there
the automatic rayzar is good antenna for low profile and self seeking / finding signal direction and location
no i would not want the ommni directional model $100 model
