Anti rodent asian beetle treatment

I may have just wasted a few bucks on a scam. While getting some maintenance done on my motorhome at CW they offered an underbody treatment to prevent rodents and asian beetless and some spiders out of the coach. I thought it was worth a try as I park in areas where this could be a good idea. I have not had a problem and do keep the coach pretty well sealed. So am wondering if anyone has had experience with the treatment.

  • You might check RVServiceReviews.com for reviews of that CW. Most of us would say don't have anything done there. Certainly not anything that requires training or expertise.

Maybe hold off on the anti-pest spray until you gather more users reviews.

Good luck, and you should check on your RV repeatedly and forcefully if you want them to actually get to it within your time schedule.
  • The treatment is not done. I agreed to have it sprayed and I believe it is a foam on the undercarriage and good for two years. The coach is still there as other work is being done and it will sit for two months before we head south so fumes if any should be gone.
  • What exactly did they do when they applied the treatment?
  • Is this treatment "one way"?? If not it will also keep the rodents, Asian beetles and some spiders IN.

But, I place these seller addons in the same category as paint sealants, upholstery stain prevents and glass protectors. Total useless, except to increase profit for the seller.

I don't know why it wouldn't work. They have had anti-pest foam sealant for several years so I assume that what they used on your coach is similar to this. Anti-pest foam sealant
  • Goldencrazy you can't put a price on piece of mind! I haven't tried that product yet but it is important to keep bugs and rodents out of your coach! Keep us posted on how it works and was there any fumes that got into your coach after it was sprayed? Good Luck
