Any downside to a domestic fridge in a Class A?

I am not an appliance expert, so I wonder how these domestic refrigerators will tolerate the turning off and turning on; long periods of being off that happens in an RV. At home we plug them in and they stay on until they die normally, but in an RV they must endure the on and off, the fluctuation of power, and long periods of being off.
