I'm sold on going with a new converter. I do need to check for the problem as I don't want change the equipment and still have it (the problem). I suppose with the switches off and the bulbs out as they are now if I test the green wire to ground if I have no continuity then its likely the converter.
To backtrack a little- we went to bed with everything off. I realize the refer and the propane detector still had some draw. We woke up and the refer was off and didn't have enough power to run the water pump. They could have been the draw to take it to the point where nothing would work. I just don't want to overlook anything.
Regarding batteries- if I put in 2 golf cart batteries rated at 210Ah do I have 210Ah, 420Ah or something in between? They won't fit under the hood of my E350. Can I add them to the system or am I better off adding a 12v in another location.
Thanks for all the help. I've been having posting issues so if I disappear it's not by choice.
