I don't recall whether this has been mentioned yet, but check all of your connections. If any of your grounds or battery wiring are weak, corroded, broken, squirrel-chewed, missing, patched with tape and bobby pins or otherwise in poor shape, the added resistance will certainly contribute to rapid battery drain.
