It's pretty hard to stay away from Chinese stuff. I replaced all my light bulbs with Chinese made LEDs. All LEDs are made in China, whether they are sold by a Chinese vender on eBay or an American distributor at 3x the price. That is not to say that all Chinese stuff is as good as American. Some of the LED venders on eBay are selling junk. I advise buying 1 or 2 and trying them out before buying more. Maybe you can ask about specific things on the forum before buying.
