Just a quick update- The new converter arrived and I installed it yesterday. Pretty easy. I still have a short in the green lighting circuit so I haven't put the fuses in or powered it up. CA Traveler where did you find the DC ammeter? Does it make a tone when there is power near it like the AC variety?
The battery has held 12.6v on the bench for over a week now. Not the greatest but not terrible either. Any recommendations? Just get the one with the most AH that fits in the compartment?
