Have you powered your new charger up yet? I would put the Kirkland under the hood and give it a good charge and then the Optima.
If your Refer is close to your sink you may be able to find a decent feed line behind the refer you can tap in to and run a wire into the sink storage area where you could place the Optima since it is sealed. Fusing it at the battery and at the back of the refer will protect you from a short. I did this in my 89 Jamboree. That was before internet and little information was available.
When driving each day I had no issues. Camping in freezing weather drained the batteries in one day and the generator/charger just would not bring things up. I added an external charger at the time but sure could have used a good 45 amps or more under those conditions.
A 100 watt panel will really make you smile and also help to keep from murdering batteries by running them down accidently.
Add a 80-100 watt panel and a trik-l-start to charge your engine battery and you will sleep well knowing it will turn over when you hit the key and your heater will run through the night with full batteries.
