Any innovative solutions for adding more batteries?

My 2014 CS Adventurous has the standard configuration of two 6-volt deep cycle batteries under the hood to supply the coach power, a 1250 watt inverter, and (optional) solar panels. We boondock a lot;...

The Onan is already in. Came from the factory that way. However, if there was a way to use that space to add batteries, I would probably do it. We almost never use the generator, which I find completely disruptive in the boondocking serenity we like to enjoy. The only exceptions are for running the A/C or the microwave, which, again are almost never used.
