Respectfully, this is just not true, at least in the United States. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal to void any part of a manufacturer's warranty merely because the owner makes aftermarket modifications or uses third-party parts. A claim may only be denied if the third-party modification can be demonstrated to have CAUSED the failure leading to a warranty claim. Moreover it is the
manunfacturer's burden to prove such causation, and the standard is high.
The Web is full of claims about various actions "voiding warranties". Almost all of them are nonsense.
