My 1998 30' Itasca has 104,695 miles on it of which I put 51,572 miles. A year ago I replaced the 19.5" Michelin with Hankook tires because of their age. As was mentioned before, there are a lot of MHs out there with 19.5” tires that apparently have had no problems with them. It sounds like a previous owner problem rather then 19.5" tire problem.
