carringb, thanks for the info. I'm still going to get the aluminum wheels, it will be, as you said, less weight. I'm going to still run steel inner rears, pretty much for the reason you just pointed out, and a little bit because of cost.
And, I'm not really planning on hitting too many poles, washboard roads, yep, plenty. Next week as a matter of fact.....
