I don't know if you are aware of the diesel engine in this rig is the Maxxforce 7 which is the 6.4L diesel. This is the same diesel that Ford used in their PSD 250 - 550 line from 2008 to 2010.
Just for your info.
The rig layout looks great and the chassis is certainly heavy enough for anything you might want to load/pull with it. One thing I'm surprised at is that they are only using a 5 speed Allison instead of a 6 speed.
While the basic design is the same, Ford manufactures theirs and International makes the Maxxforce. The engines are different in many respects with regard to a totally different block design and components. Other differences are dual turbos on the Maxxforce - advanced EGR - different heads Ford is aluminum which can warp and Maxxforce has gray Iron heads, valves, no after treatment, etc, etc. The Nexus does have a 6 speed Allison by the way!
Thanks

True there are some differences between the 2 but I think that International manufactured the blocks for Ford the same as the 6.0 were. That is the reason Ford and International had a falling out was over the warranty cost both had to bear and they were blaming each other. On the 6.4 Ford did add the two pressure turbo and they are also the ones that did the programing on the PCM for their engines.
According to Nexus web site they state it is an Allison 5 speed.
Nexus Specs
Fourth line down under the Chassis specs. If they have indeed switched to the 6 speed it would behoove them to change their web site to show this for prospective customers. - Idle-UpExplorer

I'm doing it in two parts, first the chassis and second the coach itself. Please check back!

I'm interested as well, as we are considering a 32SC. Will be flying to the factory shortly to check them out. Hopefully they'll have one in stock :)
I think you will be very impressed with the SC and the factory tour. We have a Phantom 23P and love the quality. The super C's are awesome!
:C - bagmanExplorerI also like the Nexus 32SC as it is all one would really need! Been to the factory in Elkhart, In. and I personally feel they build a good quality M.H.
