- MountainAir05Explorer IIWas when we started back in 75.
- AllegroDNomadWas!! Just a few years ago.
- edbehnkeExplorerwe're all old...er.
rving clubs typcially have older members....it is what it is. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIThere likely aren't as many of you KIDDIES that have either the time or the money to enjoy the leisurely life of traveling in a Class A motorhome. TC's and TT's seem to be more the choice of youngsters that only have occasional weekends and vacations to get out and about. Then again, there are a lot of folks that don't consider 55 as OLD either. :)
- jyExplorerI,m 60 now but I,ve had a class for 20 years,so I was young when I started!

Both Young Couples Fulltiming it in As - dahkotaExplorerWe full time in our class A. We are under 55. And under 50. We don't belong to FMCA or WIT (don't even know what WIT is).
We spend most of our time in State and Federal Parks where we see plenty of younger RVers in Class As. Maybe its the RV Parks you frequent. - mci7ExplorerAs mwntioned erlier, it seems financial stability tends to come with age or did for me. Being 73, RVing since 1988, not full time, never will be full time, I love coming home, parking the coach in the garage and being normal for awhile, then hit the road for parts unknown, tend to steer clear of the typical RV parks, so use KOA maybe once a week for a rest, 100% recharge batteries, dump & load water. Other wise am happy at some truck stops, rest areas, state, fed parks and rarely Wally world.
Do what makes you happy, dont worry about my age & experience.
Dave M - naturistNomadHey, watch who you callin' OLD, kid.
We'll see what you say when YOU get to be 55, should you be so fortunate. - ravExplorerI'm 50 and she's 49- we bought ours 2 years ago- I don't consider 55 old- to me it's just a number, I have several younger friends that will make great old men.LOL You need to join a younger camping club, ours has any where from 26 to 80 and we all have fun. we have a few class A's, 5th wheels and TT's in our club. 2/3's of the class A's are owned by "older" people- I will qualify as the younger 1/3 of the equation.
happy camping!
