We tow a Mini Clubman:
We recently went on a caravan to Alaska, including a trip across Top of the World Highway.
Here we are in line for the ferry across the Yukon at Dawson City, YT:

These shots were taken at the turn out just past the US/Canada border crossing, with the sign about Top of the World Highway:


And here we are in Chicken, AK. Except for an extra 50 lbs of dirt, everything was great!

Before this, we crossed the Canadian Rockies. So, the View can tow a fully loaded Mini (about 3200 lbs) on steep mountainous grades and through slippery mud roads. We use a Roadmaster base plate and NSA surge brake system.
