It happens a lot. A Pilot in Tx had the 75 limit so I did it two times and the third the pump would not pump faster than a dribble.
You will find stickers on pumps ,or did, that say 400 something limit on credit cards. Doesn't work apparently except on their card.
Happens at most Brands. They blame the CC company when it is in reality them. The CC companies blame the stations.
Quite tired of a fuel stop taking an hour. Sometimes the break is good but not the hassle.
We try to have the tank filled before leaving. Not generally able to drive 700+ miles in a day so we top off tank at end of day before campground.
