Went through this exact thing two days ago. First went inside and told attendant I wanted $350 on pump 12. Handed him my credit card and he said sorry we aren't allowed to do that. He then proceeded to tell me that I could swipe my card at the pump and it would let me fill up. I argued and then took his word for it.
$100 later pumped shut off. OK I swiped again and started pumping. $100 it shutoff again and this time would not allow me a third swipe.
Went back inside and again was told he couldn't do that.
I was pissed.
This station is 30 cents higher than my usual station but its far easier to get into and out of in the city. I almost feel like calling the owner and calling him a fool. I was willing to piss away my money but his lame rules made me never want to go back.
