Sounds like a nice rig but due to the high maintenance cost on diesel engines I would pay to have shop check it out before signing on the dotted line.
If you really really like it put down a deposit and sign an agreement that you will purchase based on mechanical check-up at a diesel shop with a full refund on the deposit if a major problem is discovered.
