- I am not sure how well this will show up, but I am getting ready to use some epoxy on the sink. I figured I would use a test piece to see how this looks with epoxy over fiberglass cloth.
Here is the first coat.
In case you are wondering, this is what I am using. - I wanted to get this posted last night, but after struggling with a cell phone company for 3.5 hours trying to change our plan and order a new phone, I was beat. It just didn't happen.
Anywho... If you have followed this thread, you know what this is. If not, well, it's a copper pipe that was coated with a few coats of Por 15. That was about 2 1/2 years ago, and still no oxidation. So, that means there is no moisture getting though to the copper.
Just an update, in case you wanted one, or not. - When fully folded, it looks like this.
There is just enough room to fully open the doors on the right. - Here you can see the plywood - red arrow - and the groove I cut in the bottom of the shelf to house the hinge.
When the vertical piece of plywood is pushed to the right, it folds up against the bottom of the shelf, and the whole shelf folds down. - I finally got to work today. I backed up a little bit and worked on the rear shelf below the back window.
Even though I had it installed, I had no way to hold it up, so I thought I would fix that.
I added a thin piece of plywood to the bottom that is hinged and holds the shelf in place when the shelf is pulled up. - ro_sieExplorerThank you fulltimin and PastorCharlie. My daughters are being very supportive. I have wonderful neighbors too. My next door neighbor is a Pastor and he and his wife have been wonderful.

I am sorry to hear of your husband's death. Family is a great comfort and help during such times, allow them to give their support. It will be a blessing to them as well to yourself. Sorry for your loss may God's comfort be with you. ro_sie wrote:

Sorry to hear that, as I was unaware he had passed away. You have my condolences.

I take it the weather is too bad to be working on the project. Low 50's in upstate Sc today/
Thanks Ro_sie, but the answer is no. We had a close relative with a major issue, that required immediate attention.
I had to prioritize for the week. I'll be back at it this week, though.
