- donkeydewExplorerlooks like you need to shovel the floor before it gets in the por 15
- How to butcher the English language ... 101.
I got me some sandin' time in today! Wahoo...
I needed to sand the dried Por in order to give it another coat.
Rearrange a little bit, and spread more in the same amount of space. Wanderlost wrote:

Just one fly in the ointment..... Too many non-approved uses for their product.
They wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole. Lol.
Otherwise, yes.- WanderlostNomad IIPor 15 should be sponsoring your RV rehab by now...
- I actually did get something done yesterday! Lol...
- I also started working on the outside skirting for the motor home. The drivers side will be about 20 feet long, while the passenger side will be split into 2 pieces because of the entry door and steps.
Not having a huge amount of space limits how much I can do at one time. This is 1/4" plywood, that is being fiber glassed together using some fiberglass cloth and Por15. The Por does not melt the cloth, gets very hard, and according to their website, gets very strong.
The one plus of using either fiberglass resin or epoxy is, it cures faster than the Por does. Either way, the resulting joint will be strong after a few coats.
It may appear in the pic that the joint is overlapped. It isn't. I had painted the ends of some plywood a while back with gray Por, and what you are seeing is the paint at the joint. - Had a bit of a surprise this week. I had wanted to pick up a few 2 x 3's that were 8 feet long.
About 6 months ago, I had bought a few for $2.25 each. They increased just a little bit. They are now .... $6.25 each. Just a touch more than I was expecting.
Anyhow, here is a pic of the inside of the sink I am working on. I am not sure how this will show up. This is where the side is attached to the bottom.
After several coats of Por15, I am getting a small round corner at the bottom. It's not a huge round corner, but at least it's not square which would make it really hard to clean.
I'll see what it looks like after a few more coats. - Update tomorrow.
- Thanks everyone. Had a great afternoon today with the kids and the grandbaby.
I should have a few days to return to work on the moho until it's our turn to visit again. Several different family members are taking turns helping out the new parents.
Nothing like having some extra help come and visit and assist with a newborn.
So, hope to have an update tomorrow.
Thanks again. - PastorCharlieExplorerThere is hope that babies will become grow up and become self-sustaining and contribute to society... not so for dogs and cats once they are domesticated.
