Thanks for following.
It's getting there. I hope to get some work done this weekend. We had some other work planned, but it is looking like that may be falling through, so hopefully, I can work on this project.
Should be able to post some pics.- Johnny_G1ExplorerSure looks pretty now, been following this the start.

Ooooohh. A nice blend or fade to the main color sounds good. Would make a nice transition.
Hadn't thought of a fade, but that sounds like it would look cool. We'll see how that works out.
Thanks.- Bill1374ExplorerOoooohh. A nice blend or fade to the main color sounds good. Would make a nice transition.
- Here is a pic that I posted a while back about someone who repainted their Pace Arrow.
In this pic I added a pair of blue arrows, one on each end. Those arrows indicate the floor line, and where Fleetwood split the wall siding with the siding below the floor and as a cover for their storage boxes.
I think what I am going to do, is to paint the entire area below that line black. That means the bottom 12" or so will be black and then painted a different color above that.
I've been thinking about a 3 color scheme instead of a single color.
- This shows the end of the panel. There is a piece of aluminum angle at the top on the inside. The Red arrow shows where there will be some screws holding the plywood to the aluminum.
The Blue arrow shows that the screws will go vertical through the aluminum into the bottom of the floor framing. This will allow me to remove these panels at a future date if I so desire.
There will also be additional bracing on the inside to keep this straight as well as adding a bracket to the bottom of the floor to keep the bottom of the plywood from flopping in the wind.
The original siding also had some braces at the bottom to help them remain in place and be sturdy.
- Here is the start of one of the panels that I am using for the outside, along the sides, under the floor framing.
I had posted a couple of pics last week with the plywood cut roughly to size along the side.

This is 3 years work and over $10,000 spent. I have to admire your ambition, but wonder about your common sense.
Do what you love.
Common sense? What the heck is that? Crazy, just plain crazy.
It still looks kind of rough, however, things will start looking better shortly.
I am getting near the point, that much of the work that needs done is more along the line of finish work.
I think that probably well over half of the money has been spent. At this point, I expect to probably be all in for somewhere between 13 and 15K.- Hey! If we're going to have a cream filled doughnut, let's have a Cream Filled Doughnut!
What's that have to do with an building an rv? Ya gotta keep yer strength up, right? Lol....
Update tonight, I think.....
