- I don't know if I mentioned this before or not.
Anyone who has a Kreg jig, probably already knows this, but if any of you don't have one, here is another feature of their drill guide.
If you mark where you want your holes drilled, there are marks on the drill guide, which will line up with the center of the hole. Just line up your marks on the wood and the guide, and "boom", perfectly lined up holes drilled.
- I cut my plywood today and drilled all of the holes for the Kreg screws. I want to get my French Cleat ready and working before completely assembling the drawer.

- Here is the next area that needs a drawer made for it. This will be 8 x 12 x 25.5 inches. That should fit nicely and still allow room for the washing machine.
I think I'll use a modified French Cleat that slides. That will keep all of the sliding mechanisms on the left side with nothing on the right side.

Have you allowed for the drawer faces to clear the back window cover?
Yes. I'll make sure we have clearance. Otherwise, we can only open them about 3-4 inches. Lol. Oops. That wouldn't be good. Mamma would not be happy. You know what that means.......
No work done today. Should have some time tomorrow to work on the next drawer, which will be slightly unique.- PastorCharlieExplorerHave you allowed for the drawer faces to clear the back window cover?
- Even with the drawer, which is nearly 26" long pulled out nearly all the way, I cannot push the end of the drawer down 1/4".

I had it pull out to the 3" mark and tried pushing down on the end of the drawer, and it barely moved.
In case you are wondering, did you ever try pushing downward on a piece of 1/2" thick plywood that is 3" high, and 2 feet long? Yea, it doesn't bend.
Overall, I am happy with the stability of these drawers.
Yes, I could have spent a bundle, saved some time, and just installed metal drawer slides. These are faaaarrrr cheaper, weigh a lot less, and are very sturdy.
They are not for everyone, but in some cases will work very well. - With the drawer pulled out, I have plenty of clearance between the side of the drawer and the rear window cover.

- Couple of things about the drawer sides/slides.

The red areas have been rounded over with a router bit. That leaves the yellow area as the slide surface, which is only about 1/4" wide.
After applying wax to this area, and the upper and lower slide surfaces, sliding the drawer in and out is a piece of cake, as they say. - Yes, I used my Kreg jig to assemble this puppy. No special joints to hold it together, just glue and Kreg screws.
After getting things together, the final test fit went well.
Yes, those screw pockets will be covered up when I put the face on the drawer. - Well, folks. I'm screwed. Really screwed.
Actually, the drawer is screwed. Screwed together, actually.
Yea, that's it. The drawer is screwed together.
I checked it, and it's actually square! Lol....
Aw, lighten up. That's funny on some twisted level.
