- Between mowing the yard today for the second time this month, and working on the honey-do list, I ran out of time today.
Some days there aren't enough hours in the day.
Other days, you just can't wait to get the day over with, and get to the next one, to start over. Go figure.
Face it, as humans, some times we are just tough to please. Lol. - Also found on this same bus, the use of the interior surface of the entry door, to hold a cabinet. Looks like that would be about 12 inches deep, maybe a little more.
Should hold a fair amount of stuff in there. That would require a good strong set of hinges on the door to hold the extra weight.
- I found a different take on a storage container that slides out. It appears the doors open up from the sides and not the top. It looks like there are 3 separate doors.
However, with the boxes sliding out like this, that would provide a surface to put things on when they are out. Add a board on top that is hinged, and would flip out, and now you've got a 4 foot wide counter.
Don't think I'll need this, but it is a nice idea for someone who needs extra counter space outside.
- Laid some of the black walnut on the counter just to see how it would look, before joining the boards together, and before applying a finish.
So far, I like the looks of it.

Just sitting here on the Gulf Coast in 84 and sunny with 41% humidity. Beautiful day if all the beaches and pools weren't closed. Changed the faucet for the outside shower sprayer on the MH. Enough work for one day. Have to spread out the tasks so I don't run out of things to do.
