You see a plan? I don't unless it's a plan with little or no light in the kitchen area! I suppose you can put a bunch of lights in the ceiling but natural light throughout the coach is very important to me (read.....ME). Apparently, that's not a concern to the OP or his wife. I will be most interested to see where the fridge, sink and cooktop will go and how the heat will be ventilated.
It's just starting to get really interesting.
Here's another one for ya Bill. Not to scale, but that's where it's going, in a general sense..... Just a stovetop.
With the stove so close to the side wall I would worry about splatter damaging the wall. - Bill_SatelliteExplorer III know you have a plan. I know it will be unique. I look at the kitchen and try to imagine the work triangle. Stove and sink on opposite sides and the fridge nowhere in site. Don't worry about, I still along for the ride.

- I forgot to add this to my spreadsheet last week. I went to Harbor Freight and picked up the last box of 1" long brad nails for my air nailer, so I could fasten the facings to the front of the shelves.

They amounted to $2.36 for 1000 of them. Adding that to our prior total, and we now end up with $9,672.00. Yup, with that addition, it comes out to a nice round number. Go figure. - You have seen what this looks like in earlier pictures, but this time, both of the boards are now ONE. This was after gluing/screwing them together.
Still need to trim the ends a little bit to final length, and then fasten it to the plywood below.
- Joined a pair of my black walnut boards today for the drivers side counter top. I used the Kreg jig, and screwed it together with some Titebond 3.

Plenty of sunlight is highly over-rated! Lol. Don't take that too seriously.
Even though we do a lot of cooking, most of our time is not spent in the kitchen, so artificial light will do just fine. I do like a light in the 5500 to 6000 K spectrum, which is a pretty white light, as opposed to the normal 2500 K or so, like most incandescents were, so that helps.
By the way - this pic is for you! Rough approximation.

Wasn't sure about where you were going with the setup but I'm now seeing that you have a very good plan in place. It's looking very good.
Thank you. With a vertically challenged wife, I decided to give her some storage that she can actually reach!
The shelves are roughly 6' long, and with 3 of them on each side, there will be a lot of storage available. I will be adding an additional piece in the front to keep things from falling out. The wife has said at this point, she does not want doors on these.
If that ever changes, I can always add them later.- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIYou see a plan? I don't unless it's a plan with little or no light in the kitchen area!
